Use: For temporary relief of pain caused by toothache, ulcers, minor irritation to the mouth and gums caused by dentures or orthodontic appliances, or minor trauma to the mouth or gums.

Recommendations for use

Adults and children 2 years and older:

Rotate base clockwise to dose the initial dose, but subsequent use should require less than 1 turn.

To clean the brush tip, rinse it with cold water

Dry the affected area and apply the medicine by gently combing the affected area.

Use up to 4 times daily or as directed by your dentist or doctor

Children under 12 years of age should be supervised when using this product

Children under 2 years of age: do not use

Warnings

Methemoglobinemia warning: Using this product may cause methemoglobinemia, a rare but serious condition that must be treated immediately as it reduces the amount of oxygen carried into the blood.

Discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately if you or a child in your care develops:

Pale, gray, or blue skin (cyanosis)

Headache

Heart palpitations

Dyspnea

Lightheadedness or dizziness

Fatigue or lack of energy

Allergy Warning: Do not use this product if you have a history of allergies to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine, or other caine" anesthetics.

When using this product:

Do not use this product for more than 7 days without the direction of your dentist or doctor.

If symptoms of pain in the mouth do not improve within 7 days: if irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens

or if swelling, rash, or fever develops, see your doctor or dentist right away.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Keep out of the reach of children.

If more than used for pain is accidentally swallowed, seek medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Do not buy if the package has been opened.

Replace the cap after use to prevent drying out

Avoid contact with eyes

This is a personal hygiene item and should only be used by one person.
