The kidneys are elongated-conical, pointed or blunt, often sticky.
The scales are arranged in a tiled manner, tightly pressed along the edges, slightly ciliate (the lower ones are shorter than the upper ones and sometimes with slightly lagging tips)

Indications
Birch buds have long been used in folk medicine, birch buds are used as a disinfectant and expectorant for bronchitis and tracheitis, as a diuretic for the treatment of cardiac edema.

Method of administration and dosage
About 10 g (1 tablespoon) of the kidneys are placed in an enamel bowl, 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are wrung out.
The volume of the resulting infusion is brought up to 200 ml with boiled water.
Is taken orally 1-2 tablespoons 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
Side effects
Allergic reactions are possible.
With prolonged use of the drug, there may be an exacerbation of inflammatory kidney diseases as a result of irritation of the renal parenchyma.
Overdose
When using the drug in doses exceeding the recommended ones, it is possible to increase the dose-dependent side effects.
