DESCRIPTION
Biostimulginum (Biostimulginum) is one of the additional agents for inclusion in the therapy regimens for diseases of the genital organs of a functional and inflammatory nature. The drug is a transparent or slightly opalescent straw-colored liquid.
COMPOSITION
Tissue preparation, which is prepared from sequins taken from cows in farms free from infectious diseases.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The drug is a product of proteolysis, activates the immuno-biological reactivity of the animal organism, stimulates the regenerative processes of the endometrium, enhances the trophic and plastic functions of organs, including the ovaries.
The drug belongs to the IV class of hazard (low-hazard substances) according to GOST 12.1.007-76.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Biostimulgin is one of the additional means for including functional and inflammatory diseases of the genital organs (subinvolution of the uterus, endometritis, ovarian hypofunction, etc.) into the therapy regimens, as well as stimulation of the stage of excitation of the sexual cycle in cows, heifers, sows, and other animals.
The drug is used: when the placenta is detained; for the treatment of cows with endometritis, vaginitis; with hypofunction to stimulate the stage of arousal of the sexual cycle in cows, heifers and sows that do not come into heat (in the absence of pathological changes in the genitals).
Biostimulgin is injected into cows and heifers by 30 cm3 paravaginally or subcutaneously in the middle third or alternately on the right and left sides at the same dose.
When the placenta is detained, biostimulgin is administered 6-8 hours after the removal of the fetus and, if necessary, repeated after 24 hours. In the absence of effect, the placenta is separated by an operative method.
In inflammatory processes, the drug is administered according to the following scheme: three times with an interval of 24 hours, then twice after 48 hours and then after 72 hours until recovery.
In case of ovarian hypofunction, biostimulgin (30 cm) is injected in a mixture with 2 cm of 0.1% carbacholine solution, then daily for 4 days 10 cm3 of the drug is injected intramuscularly once a day.
If after 15-20 days there is no stage of excitation of the sexual cycle, then the course of administration of biostimulgin with carbacholine is repeated.
The stage of excitement of the sexual cycle in sows is stimulated by the introduction of a single subcutaneous injection in the neck area of ​​20-30 cm3 of biostimulgin mixed with 1 cm3 of 0.1% solution of carbacholine, and then after 4 days intramuscularly 10 cm3 of biostimulgin.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Slaughter of animals after application of the drug and the use of animal products without restrictions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use the drug for organic changes in the genitals and emaciated animals.
SIDE EFFECTS
In case of an allergic reaction, 10-15 cm3 of a 20% caffeine solution is injected subcutaneously, 150-200 cm3 of a 40% glucose solution and 2-3 cm3 of a 0.1% solution of atropine sulfate are injected intravenously.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
The drug is stored at temperatures from + 2 В° C to + 20 В° C in a dry, dark place. The shelf life of the drug is 18 months from the date of manufacture.
