Mode of application

BF-6 glue is used locally for adults and children. For children under one year old, the use of BF-6 glue is not recommended. Before applying BF-6 glue, the skin area is thoroughly cleaned of dirt. With a cotton or gauze swab, stop bleeding and dry the area to be covered with glue. The latter is applied to the skin with a thin uniform layer until the damaged area and adjacent intact tissues are completely covered (no bandage is applied). In case of violation of the integrity of the film, a new film is applied over it. In the surgical treatment of peri-root foci of infection, the tooth root is thoroughly cleaned of granulation and cyst shell, bleeding is stopped, the part of the tooth root protruding into the defect in the jawbone is dried and covered with glue, preventing the glue from flowing onto the bone. After 1 - 2 minutes, the wound is dried, monitoring the filling of the peri-root defect of the jaw with a blood clot. Further management of the postoperative period is usual. The film is formed within 2 - 5 minutes after application of BF-6 and is firmly adhered to the skin for 2 - 3 days, and on the apex of the tooth root for up to 7 days.
