rit.
Contraindications

Use during pregnancy and lactation
Due to the fact that the safety of the use of local GCS in pregnant women has not been established, the use of drugs of this class during pregnancy is justified only if the benefit to the mother clearly exceeds the possible harm to the fetus. Drugs in this group can not be used by pregnant women in large doses for a long time.
Since it has not yet been established whether glucocorticosteroids, with topical application and systemic absorption, can pass into breast milk, a decision should be made whether to stop breastfeeding or to discontinue the drug, taking into account how necessary its use for the mother.
Special instructions
If there is no effect of treatment within two weeks, it is recommended to consult your doctor with a view to possible clarification of the diagnosis. If during the use of the drug an irritation or hypersensitivity reaction is noted, treatment should be discontinued and consult your doctor. With a secondary fungal or bacterial infection, appropriate medicines must be used. In the absence of, at the same time, a quick positive effect, the use of Acriderm should be discontinued until all signs of infection have been eliminated.
Long-term use of the drug on the skin of the face is not recommended. Do not use Akriderm in the eye area, as in this case, the development of cataracts, glaucoma, fungal infection and exacerbation of herpetic infection is possible.
Pediatric use
Children may be more susceptible to the use of local GCS, which inhibit the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system (GGN), than older patients, due to increased absorption of the drug, associated with a larger ratio of surface area to mass body. The following side effects were observed in children taking local GCS: suppression of the function of the GGN system, Cushing's syndrome, linear growth retardation, lag in weight gain, increased intracranial pressure. Symptoms of inhibition of adrenal cortex function in children include a decrease in plasma levels of kortyazol and a lack of response to ACTH stimulation. An increase in intracranial pressure is manifested by bulging fontanel, headache, bilateral edema of the optic disc.
Composition
1 g contains 0.64 mg betamethasone dipropionate (equivalent to 0.5 mg betamethasone).
Dosage and administration
Akriderm should be applied in a thin layer to the affected areas 1-3 times / day, gently rubbing. The duration of treatment should be no more than 3 weeks.
The use of the drug Akriderm in children under the age of 12 years is carried out under the supervision of a doctor.
Side effects
Possible: burning, irritation and dryness of the skin, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, hypopigmentation, allergic contact dermatitis, atrophy of the skin, striae and sweating. In case of side effects, consult a doctor.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant interactions with other drugs have been observed.
Overdose
Symptoms: Excessive or prolonged use of topical ACS may inhibit the function of the pituitary-adrenal system, which can cause secondary adrenal cortex insufficiency and hypercorticism, including Cushing's syndrome.
Treatment: Appropriate symptomatic treatment is indicated. Acute symptoms of hypercorticism are usually reversible. If necessary, correction of electrolyte imbalance is shown. In the case of chronic toxic effects, the gradual elimination of ACS is recommended.
Storage conditions
The product should be stored out of the reach of children at 15 to 25 РC.
Shelf life
2 years.
