Protegin X - 50 mg, cetyl alcohol - 18 mg, stearyl alcohol - 12 mg, white beeswax - 40 mg, lanolin - 250 mg, soft white paraffin - 130 mg, almond oil - 50 mg, liquid paraffin - 150 mg, water purified - up to 1000 mg.

pharmachologic effect
Tissue regeneration stimulant.
Dexpanthenol in skin cells is rapidly converted to pantothenic acid, which is an integral part of coenzyme A and plays an important role in the formation and healing of damaged skin.
Stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cell metabolism.
Pharmacokinetics
Dexpanthenol is rapidly absorbed by the skin (quickly absorbed) and converted to pantothenic acid.
Binds to blood plasma proteins (mainly albumin and β-globulin).
Pantothenic acid is not metabolized in the body and is excreted unchanged.
Indications for use
- prevention and treatment of dry skin in violation of the integrity of its integuments
- care of the mammary glands during feeding (treatment of dry nipples and painful cracks)
- treatment and care of baby's skin (diaper rash, diaper dermatitis)
- activation of the healing process of the skin with minor injuries, minor burns, abrasions, skin irritations, chronic ulcers, bedsores, cracks and skin grafting.
Contraindications for use
- hypersensitivity to drug components.
Dosage regimen
Apply externally.
The ointment is applied to the damaged or inflamed skin area 1-2 times / day and rubbed lightly.
Breast care in nursing mothers: the ointment is applied to the nipples after each feeding.
Baby Care: The ointment is applied every time you change the diaper (diaper).
Overdose
Dexpanthenol, even in very high doses, is well tolerated and does not cause any adverse reactions.
To date, no cases of overdose have been registered.
Cases of hypervitaminosis are unknown.
Side effect
Allergic reactions: urticaria, itching.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
Bepanten® ointment can be used during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
