The ointment is used to treat scabies.
The course of treatment lasts 4 days. Adults are prescribed 20% ointment, and children - 10%. On the first day, the treatment is carried out in the evening before going to bed after thorough washing under the shower with warm water and soap. The ointment is rubbed into the skin of the hands, then the trunk and legs, including the soles and fingers. After processing the skin, use only clean linen and clothing. On the 2nd and 3rd days, take a break in treatment, while the remnants of the ointment are not washed off the skin. On the 4th day in the evening, the patient washes with soap and rubbing in the ointment, as on the first day, using the remaining ointment and once again changing all underwear. After processing, hands should not be washed for 3 hours; subsequently, hands are treated with ointment after each wash. If the ointment is washed off from other areas of the skin, they must also be reprocessed. The ointment is completely washed off the skin on the fifth day of treatment.

Side effect:
Local reactions: it is possible (especially in children) a burning sensation, skin irritation, allergic reactions.
Special instructions:
Treatment of patients identified in the same focus, as well as contact persons, should be carried out simultaneously in order to avoid re-infection. The persistence of itching after treatment is not an indication for the appointment of an additional course of specific therapy. Itching is the body's reaction to the killed tick and its waste products and disappears when antihistamines and ointments with glucocortteroids are prescribed. After treatment, medical supervision is required for 2 weeks, and in the presence of complications, even a longer time.
All items that come into contact with contaminated skin must be carefully processed. Bedding and linen, towels are boiled in a solution of washing powder for 5-10 minutes. The outer garment is ironed on both sides with a hot iron. Items that are not subject to heat treatment are hung out in the open air for 3 days. Shoes, toys and other items are excluded from use for 5 days and placed in a plastic bag. Mattresses, pillows, blankets are also excluded from use for 5 days or undergo chamber disinfection. Upholstered furniture can be treated with pest control preparations. It is necessary to clean the apartment, wash the floors with detergents or add disinfectants. Avoid getting the drug in the eyes, nose, mouth.
If the drug gets in:
in the mouth: rinse the mouth with plenty of water or 2% warm sodium bicarbonate solution (baking soda);
into the stomach: the stomach is washed with 1% -2% sodium bicarbonate solution (baking soda), an aqueous mixture of burnt magnesia and activated carbon;
in eyes: rinse thoroughly with water or baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) solution.
