PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Contains diazinon as an active ingredient - an organophosphorus compound of intestinal action, which has a pronounced insectoacaricidal activity on arthropods, larval and sexually mature phases of development of insects and ticks parasitizing on dogs and cats, including against the causative agent of otodectosis. The auxiliary components included in the drops: prednisolone, glycerin, etc. have an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect, reduce tissue edema.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Before treatment, the auricle and ear canal are cleaned of scabs and impurities with a tampon moistened with the preparation, and then instilled shallowly into each ear: for cats and small dogs - 3 drops of the preparation, for medium dogs - 4, for large dogs - 5 drops.

For a more complete treatment of the entire surface of the auricle and the auditory canal, the auricle is folded along and slightly massaged at its base. The treatment is carried out twice with a 5-7-day interval until the animal's clinical recovery, confirmed by microscopic examination of scrapings.

Repeat the treatment if necessary. Drops must be injected into both ears, even in cases of defeat by otodectosis of only one.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

If drops of 'Bars' get on the skin or mucous membranes of a person, the drug should be washed off with a stream of water or removed with a swab.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. It is forbidden to use the drug in animals with a perforation of the tympanic membrane.

SIDE EFFECTS

When using the drug according to the instructions, side effects and complications are not observed. With increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug and the manifestation of allergic reactions (itching, increased salivation, vomiting), its use is stopped.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store the drug in a place protected from light and moisture, out of reach of children and animals, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of 0 to 25 В° C.

The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of production.
