DESCRIPTION

Rodenticide Barrier is a ready-to-use food bait in the form of a pink grain. The agent has a high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice: their death occurs in the period from 3 to 15 days.

COMPOSITION

Contains ethylphenacin as an active ingredient (DV) in an amount of 0.015%, as well as an attractant, red dye, food base and bitrex (bitter component), which protects the bait from being eaten by pets.

PROPERTIES

The active ingredient - ethylphenacin - belongs to the I class of extremely hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76. DL50 - 7.1 and 3.1 mg / kg when administered into the stomach of black and gray rats; mice - 250 mg / kg. It has a pronounced cumulative effect (Kkum. <1). Does not possess skin-resorptive, local irritating and sensitizing effects.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity when administered into the stomach, the Barrier agent belongs to the IV class of low-hazard drugs according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides. When rats and mice enter the body, an anticoagulant effect is manifested: a violation of blood clotting with the manifestation of bleeding and hemorrhage.

PURPOSE

The product is intended for the destruction of rats and mice in built-up and undeveloped areas of settlements, including living quarters, as well as at objects of various categories, including food, medical and children's (in places inaccessible to children) by specialists of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities. Suitable for dry and damp rooms, sewers, basements, cellars, underground structures.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

The bait is placed in previously identified rodent habitats: along walls, partitions, near burrows, laid out in dry places under shelters (cabinets, equipment, etc.) in adapted containers (bait boxes, drainage pipes, trays, boxes) or in special containers. The latter are preferable because increase the eatability of the product, preventing it from being taken away by rodents, and also complicate access to the bait for non-target species of animals.

To destroy rats, they are laid out in 20-25 g, from mice - 10-20 g.

The distance between the bait placement points is 2-15 m, depending on the clutter of the premises and the number of rodents. Since the portions of bait for mice are smaller than for rats, they are laid out more often, placing them throughout the entire volume of the premises.

The laid out bait is inspected for the first 1-2 days after laying, and then with an interval of 1 week. The portions eaten are replaced with new ones. Portions left untouched by rats or mice for more than a week are transferred to other places visited by rodents.

Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. The work is carried out until the disappearance of rodents.

The corpses of rodents, and at the end of the work - the remains of the bait and containers from under it are collected for subsequent burial in accordance with the requirements of existing legislation.

In order to prevent and possible introduction of rodents into the premises, as well as during periods of increase in their numbers, the bait can be left in places favorable for habitat and movement of rodents. In this case, observations must be carried out at least 2 times a month.

PRECAUTIONS

Persons who have undergone special instructions, at least 18 years of age and do not suffer from diseases of the blood and liver are allowed to work with the product.

When working with the product, do not touch it with unprotected hands; use gloves or a special scoop (spoon) for packing or packing. All manipulations should be performed in overalls (robe). When working, you must follow the rules of personal hygiene, do not smoke, do not eat. Wash hands and face thoroughly with warm water and soap during breaks and after work.

The product should be laid out and stored in places inaccessible to children, pets, birds, separate from food, fodder and water. The product should be stored in an undamaged container with a label in a special locker or in warehouses intended for storing rodenticides, recording their arrival and consumption. During storage and transportation, the packaging with the product must be tightly closed and have a label. Do not keep the product near strong smelling chemicals.

People living or working in the processed objects should be advised of the availability of the product and the observance of precautions.

Marking is placed on containers and on packaging with bait, which must necessarily contain the name, date of manufacture. prescription: applied only by specialists of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Storage should be carried out in a dry covered warehouse in a closed container at a temperature not lower than minus 20 В° C and not higher than plus 40 В° C, separately from feed and fodder. Shelf life - 2 years in unopened manufacturer's packaging.
