The bactericidal lamp DKBU-5 is used in the OUFD-01 irradiator.

The lamp has a low power, therefore it is used to treat ENT diseases in children.

On the recommendation of a doctor, this lamp can be used to irradiate children under 3 years of age.

The lamp is a low pressure mercury discharge lamp with a tubular glass bulb.

The lamp emits short-wave ultraviolet rays with a maximum at the wavelength, which have a bactericidal effect, does not form ozone.

UV lamps are extremely fragile and care should be taken when replacing them.

After the inoperative lamp is removed from the device, and a new germicidal lamp is installed in the illuminator, it is necessary to gently wipe it with a dry cloth to remove foreign contamination.

If there is little dirt on the lamp, it quickly breaks down.
