Isla Moos contains an extract from the medicinal plant Cetraria Islandica (Icelandic moss), which was well known in the days of ancient civilizations for its beneficial therapeutic effect on inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.

The lozenges should be kept in the mouth until completely dissolved, therefore the drug is not used in children under 4 years of age. The therapeutic effect of Isla-Mint and Isla-Moos preparations for catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract is based, first of all, on the antimicrobial activity and immunostimulating properties of the plant extract contained in it, which is proved by the results of scientific research. Since the drugs Isla-Mint and Isla-Moos also have protective properties, they can also be used for prophylactic purposes, for example, with special sensitivity of the respiratory tract or with increased stress on them (including when playing sports).

The polysaccharides contained in the preparation envelop the mucous membranes of the airways and effectively protect them from the effects of harmful external factors and various types of irritants.

When there is a risk of colds, the prophylactic use of Isla-Mint and Isla-Moos, which can protect mucous membranes, can reduce the susceptibility of the respiratory tract to various kinds of infections.

The drug does not irritate the stomach.

Structure

1 tablet contains 80 mg of an aqueous extract of Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica) (0.4-0.8 to 1) and such inactive components as gum arabic, liquid paraffin, caramel E150 (c), purified water.

In addition, one lozenge contains 424 mg of sucrose, which is equivalent to 0.035 bread unit.
