DESCRIPTION

Azinox Plus is a veterinary drug in the form of tablets for the prevention and treatment of nematodes and cestodoses in dogs.

COMPOSITION

A tablet weighing 0.55 g contains praziquantel and tetramisole hydrochloride.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Azinox plus possesses a wide spectrum of anthelmintic action at all stages of development of round and tapeworms, including Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichocephalus vulpis, Echinococcus Taurus, multinuces, multinulosus, Multinulosus, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinoiscoccoccus, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus granulosus. Mesocestoides spp. The mechanism of action of the drug is based on the suppression of enzymes, damage to the membrane and muscle tissue of the parasite, which leads to disruption of neuromuscular innervation, paralysis and death of the helminth. Azinox plus belongs to the group of compounds with low toxicity for warm-blooded animals; in recommended doses, it does not have an embryotoxic, teratogenic and sensitizing effect.

INDICATIONS

Azinox plus is prescribed for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes for nematodes (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariosis, ankylostomiasis) and cestodosis (tenioses, dipylidiosis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidosis) in dogs.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

Azinox plus is administered to dogs once, individually in the morning feeding with a small amount of food, or injected forcibly at the rate of 1 tablet (0.55 g) per 10 kg of animal weight. No prior fasting diet or laxatives are required.

For prophylactic purposes, dogs are dewormed every two months at the same dose. Near-farm and priotary dogs against the causative agents of tenioses are deworming from December to April every 45 days, from May to November - every 30 days.

SIDE EFFECTS

Subject to the indicated dose, they are not observed.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Azinox plus should not be used for puppy or lactating bitches within 10 days after giving birth.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

List B. In the original packaging, protected from light, out of reach of children and animals. Separated from food and animal feed, at temperatures from minus 0 В° C to plus 25 В° C. The shelf life is 3 years.
