COMPOSITION
Aversect K & C contains C1 at a concentration of 0.5% as an active ingredient, and auxiliary components.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The drug is a drug with a wide spectrum of antiparasitic action, is active against nematodes, ticks, fleas and lice in dogs and cats.
The mechanism of action of Aversectin C1 consists in its effect on the magnitude of the current of chlorine ions through the membranes of the nerve and muscle cells of the parasite. The main targets are glutamate-sensitive chlorine channels and gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors. A change in the current of chlorine ions disrupts the conduction of nerve impulses, which leads to paralysis and death of the parasite.
