CHARACTERISTIC

Family - Cypress.

Cypress is an evergreen tree with a pyramidal or spreading crown. The cypress family includes 19 genera and about 130 species, which include not only cypress trees and shrubs, but also thuja with juniper. Although cypress is similar to conifers, it cannot be called an ephedra, because cypress leaves are only needles at a young age. In plants over 4 years old, they already have a scale-like shape. The Arizona cypress is the only species native to the American Southwest. It is a medium-sized tree (15-20 m high), with a conical crown and smooth reddish-brown bark that becomes fibrous over time with flat ridges. Leaves are scaly, grayish or bluish green, sometimes silvery, arranged in opposite pairs and tightly grasping tetrahedral branches.

MODE OF APPLICATION

Place the seeds on a tray lid and soak them in room temperature water for 3 days, change the water once a day.

Seeds need stratification for 2-3 months (storage of seeds at temperatures from +3 to +5 В° C) to interrupt their dormancy (imitation of winter). To do this, add enough water to the perlite so that it is completely absorbed. Squeezing the bag lightly in your hand, turn it over and drain off excess water. Place the seeds in a bag of wet perlite and stir.

Close the bag completely and put it in the refrigerator on the lower shelf for 2-3 months.

Pour expanded clay on the bottom of the plastic pot, and on top pour fertile soil, leaving a small amount of earth in the bag.

Place the pot on a tray lid. Excess water when watering through the drainage holes in the pot will accumulate on the lid.

Sprinkle generously with room temperature water.

Spread the seeds evenly (together with perlite) over the soil surface. It is very important not to damage the roots if your seeds have already hatched.

Sprinkle the seeds with a layer of fertile soil (3-5 mm) and compact it slightly.

Pour water at room temperature again and cover with transparent plastic, airing once a day.

Keep fertile soil moist at all times (watering 2-4 times a week). It is better to use a spray bottle during seed germination.

Choose a place well lit by the sun for your pet. A window sill not on the south side is ideal to exclude prolonged direct sunlight. The optimum temperature regime is 18-25 В° C.

Be patient, shoots will appear within 15-60 days. Remove the plastic after emergence.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Expiration date - 20 months from the date of production. Store in a dry place protected from sunlight at temperatures from 0 В° C to + 25 В° C.
