ARGAKOL - a modern gel-like wound covering, which includes a base - protein hydrolyzate and sodium alginate

antiseptics - catapol (benzalkonium chloride), dioxidine and poviargol, conventional preservatives and plasticizers, and sodium hypochlorite solution as a solvent.

ARGAKOL has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, wound healing and sorption effects.

The combination of antiseptics gives it a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action.

As a result of the synergism inherent in the compositions with the silver preparation poviargol, local enhancement of the antiseptic effect is provided with the simultaneous use of antibiotics.

ARGAKOL has good adhesion to the skin and tissues, creates a sufficiently strong protective film on dry superficial wounds, but it can also be used with bandages, providing them with additional fixation, as well as using tampons.

It is non-toxic, usually non-allergic and non-irritating.

Indications

ARGAKOL is recommended for the treatment of II - IIIa degree burns, various wounds, trophic ulcers, pressure ulcers and other defects of integumentary tissues and mucous membranes, to protect skin grafts and donor sites, to prevent suture contamination during surgical operations.

It can be used to treat the oral cavity with stomatitis, with a wide range of gynecological diseases (erosion and pseudo-erosion, endocervicitis caused by various pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria, colpitis, granulating and clean wounds on the mucous membranes).

How to take, course and dosage

For the treatment of wounds, the gel can be used both openly and with bandages.

Apply to damaged areas with a layer of 2-3 mm.

It is used both on fresh wounds and on pre-treated wounds when changing the dressing.

If exudate appears before reapplying the gel, it is necessary to rinse the wound with an antiseptic solution and dry it.

It is recommended to process the operating field with a sterile swab with gel for 2-3 minutes.

In the field, the gel can be used, including for processing the hands of personnel.

Before applying the gel, wash your hands with soap and water for 3-5 minutes, then immerse them in the gel solution and process them with sterile gauze for 5-7 minutes.

This ensures the sterility of the hands for 2-3 hours
