Mode of application

Hypertonic sea water solution has an increased content of sodium chloride (NaCl) 17-23 g / l. Aqua MarisЃ Extrastrong is used for inflammatory diseases of the nose, sinuses and nasopharynx to eliminate swelling of the mucous membrane and nasal congestion and to facilitate nasal breathing as a 'natural decongestant'.

The hypertonic solution of sea water provides a decrease in edema of the nasal mucosa due to the removal of excess fluid from the intercellular space due to the difference in osmotic pressure.
