DESCRIPTION
Antibacterial shampoo with chlorhexidine for animals is a hygienic product from the Pchelodar series. In appearance, it is a homogeneous gel-like liquid of white color with the smell of herbs and perfume.
COMPOSITION
Chlohexidine bigluconate (5%), propolis extract, herbal extracts (St. John's wort, nettle and chamomile), seaweed extracts (kelp and fucus), provitamin B5, as well as auxiliary components are used as active ingredients.
BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Antibacterial shampoo with chlorhexidine for animals is a hygienic product of prolonged action, intended for the daily care of the skin and hair of animals, for the prevention and treatment of skin diseases of various etiologies. Has antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, antipruritic and deodorant effects.
Chlorhexidine bigluconate is an antiseptic, depending on the concentration it exhibits bacteriostatic or bactericidal (including fungicidal) action. Extracts of medicinal herbs, propolis and algae, being a source of vitamins, organic acids and microelements, actively nourish, heal skin and hair, improve their structure, providing a flawless appearance, elasticity, softness and gloss. Extracts of medicinal herbs and propolis have an antibacterial and antimycotic effect, relieve inflammation, irritation and itching on the affected skin areas, help to eliminate the unpleasant specific odor of the animal. Provitamin B5 (D-panthenol) restores the barrier structure of the epidermis in any lesion: cracks, dermatitis and burns, prevents excessive shedding and protects the skin from drying out and peeling. Provitamin B5 provides normalization of water-lipid metabolism and deep moisturizing of the animal's coat.
When applied to the skin and hair of an animal during washing, the active components of the agent have a short-term contact effect against microorganisms in their localization, and after absorption, a long-term systemic disinfectant and deodorizing effect.
Antibacterial shampoo with chlorhexidine for animals in terms of the degree of impact on the body belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), when applied to the skin in recommended doses, it does not have a local irritating, resorptive-toxic and sensitizing effect.
INDICATIONS
Antibacterial shampoo with chlorhexidine for animals is used:
for daily care of the skin and hair of animals (deep cleansing and moisturizing of the skin, nutrition and strengthening of the coat);
for the prevention and treatment of deep and superficial dermatitis caused by bacteria (streptococci and staphylococci);
for the prevention and treatment of fungal skin diseases;
to normalize the work of the sebaceous glands;
for the rehabilitation of wounds, abrasions and cracks;
as part of complex therapy in the treatment of parasitic skin diseases.
It is possible to use the product for kittens and puppies from 2 months of age.
APPLICATION
Before starting treatment, gently comb the animal's hair with a comb, freeing the affected skin from crusts and dandruff. Shampoo is applied to the wool moistened with warm water, evenly spreading over the entire surface of the body, and rubbing with massaging movements until abundant foam is formed, avoiding contact with mucous membranes and preventing the animals from licking the foam. After 2-5 minutes, the shampoo is thoroughly washed off with warm water, and the animal's hair is dried and combed. Repeat the procedure if necessary. The course of using the shampoo as part of the complex therapy of skin diseases is 10-15 days.
For the prevention of skin diseases of various etiologies, 1-2 treatments of the animal per month are sufficient.
It is allowed to use the shampoo in conjunction with other etiotropic and pathogenetic drugs.
SIDE EFFECTS
When applied in accordance with this instruction are not observed. In case of increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the shampoo or in case of allergic reactions, the animal must be thoroughly washed under running water with a detergent, use antihistamines according to the instructions, and stop using the shampoo.

Empty shampoo bottles are disposed of with household waste. Dispose of unused product in accordance with legal requirements.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store in closed manufacturer's packaging, protected from direct sunlight, separate from food and feed, at temperatures from 0 В° C to 25 В° C. Shelf life, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of production. The production date is indicated on the packaging. Do not use empty vials for household purposes. Do not use after the expiration date. Use the product only as directed. Keep out of the reach of children!
