Interaction with other drugs

The acidic reaction of foods increases, the slightly alkaline reaction of foods decreases the absorption of calcium. Calcium enhances the action of cardiac glucosides. Diuretics from the thiazide group (dichlotizide, etc.) reduce the excretion of calcium and, therefore, increase its content in the body.
