DESCRIPTION
Alben (Granulate Albenum) - granules for oral use for deworming animals.
COMPOSITION
Contains albendazole as an active ingredient.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The mechanism of action of the drug is to disrupt carbohydrate metabolism and microtubular function of helminths, which leads to their death and excretion from the animal's body. It is active against sexually mature and immature nematodes and cestodes, as well as sexually mature trematodes. Possessing an ovocidal effect, it reduces the infestation of pastures by helminths.
INDICATIONS
Gastrointestinal nematodesis (hemonhoz, bunostomosis, esophagostomosis, nematodyrosis, ostertagiosis, neoascariosis, habertiosis, cooperiosis, strongyloidosis, trichostrongylosis, strongilatosis, parascariasis, ascariasis, trichocariasis, toxoscariosis, toxscariosis, toxoscariosis)
pulmonary nematodesis (dictyocaulosis, protostrongylosis, mulleriosis, cystocaulosis, neostrongylosis, metastrongylosis);
cestodoses (moniesiasis, avitellinosis, tizaniasis, hymenolepiasis of geese and ducks, drepanidotheniosis of geese);
trematodosis (fascioliasis, dicroceliosis, paramphistomidosis).

In case of group use, the calculated dose of Alben granules is mixed with concentrated feed (based on feed per 1 animal): for horses and cattle - 0.5-1.0 kg; sheep, goats and pigs - 150-200 g; poultry - 50 g; carnivores - 50-100 g).
The resulting medicinal mixture is poured into feeders for a group of 10-100 animals, providing them with free access to the feeders.
For Alben fish, granules are introduced in a group way as part of the feed, at a dose of 0.2 g per 1 kg of ichthyomass. At the plant: 4 kg of Albena granules are introduced into 1 ton of feed mixture by trituration method. On the farm: 1 kg of Albena granules is suspended in 7-10 l of water and mixed with 250 kg of compound feed in a mixer. Feed with Alben granules is fed to fish twice without a preliminary starvation diet with a break of 24 hours. The daily amount of food is 5% of the fish body weight.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using the drug according to the instructions, side effects and complications are not observed.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
The drug is not recommended for use, during the breeding period, for sheep, goats, pigs and carnivores - in the first half, for cows and mares - in the first third of pregnancy, as well as for patients with infectious diseases and malnourished animals.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Slaughter of farm animals for meat is allowed after 20 days; birds - 5 days after deworming. Milk can be used for food purposes no earlier than 4 days after deworming. A bird's egg can be eaten 4 days after deworming. The meat of forcedly killed animals and milk obtained before the expiration of the specified time period can be used as feed for carnivores. Catching and selling fish for food purposes is allowed no earlier than 18 days at a water temperature in the reservoir above 8 В° C after the end of the drug application.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store the drug with precautions (list B) in its original packaging, protected from light and moisture, separate from food and feed, at a temperature from 0 to 25 В° C. Expiration date 36 months.
