As monotherapy and as part of complex therapy for viral lesions of the eye:
- conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, keratouveitis caused by the herpes virus (herpes simplex, herpes zoster), adenoviruses;
- keratopathy of infectious, post-traumatic and postoperative genesis.
The drug is instilled into the conjunctival sac 1-2 drops 6-8 times a day.
After clinical recovery, continue instillation of 2 drops 3 times a day for 7 days.
Eye drops in the form of a transparent, colorless or slightly yellowish liquid.

Excipients: sodium chloride - 9 mg, purified water - up to 1 ml.
Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Aminobenzoic acid is an interferon inducer, has an antioxidant, immunomodulatory, radioprotective effect, accelerates corneal regeneration.
The drug has no teratogenic, mutagenic, embryotoxic effect.
Pharmacokinetics
When instilled into the conjunctival sac, aminobenzoic acid is rapidly absorbed and exhibits a therapeutic effect.
Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding
To date, there are no data from clinical trials regarding the use of the drug AktipolЃ-M during pregnancy, lactation, and also in children. However, the drug can be used if the intended benefit outweighs the risk.
Side effect
In very rare cases, conjunctival hyperemia, local allergic reactions are observed.
Overdose
There are no data on drug overdose.
Interaction with other medicinal products
In combination with nucleoside analogues (acyclovir, ganciclovir, etc.), antimicrobial agents (fluoroquinolones) and antibiotics (polymyxin B), the therapeutic effect of these drugs is enhanced.

Do not use the drug simultaneously with sulfa drugs and their derivatives (sodium sulfacyl).
