Overdose

Symptoms of a bromide overdose: cough, runny nose, apathy, headache, general weakness, impaired perception, memory impairment, skin rash, conjunctivitis.

Treatment: it is necessary to stop taking the drug, the introduction of large amounts (in the absence of contraindications) sodium chloride -10-20 g / day (accelerates the elimination of bromine) in combination with plenty of drinking (3-5 l / day).

Symptoms of an overdose of cardiac glycosides: severe bradycardia, polytopic extrasystole, bigeminia or trigeminia, slowing of atrioventricular conduction; in severe cases, ventricular flutter and cardiac arrest.

Treatment: a break in their use, if necessary, prescribe potassium preparations and antiarrhythmic drugs.

Drug interactions

The drug enhances the effect of hypnotics and other drugs that depress the central nervous system, which requires dose adjustment with simultaneous use.
