Description
Drops for irrigation of the nasal cavity in disposable dropper bottles.
Release form
Each dropper bottle contains 5 ml of sterile saline, in a package of 18 dropper bottles.
Indications
Hygiene of the nasal cavity in acute and chronic colds of the nose, sinuses and nasopharynx, as well as with allergic rhinitis.
Daily hygiene of the nasal cavity to preserve the protective properties of the mucosa in conditions of increased dryness or air pollution (including conditioning, central heating, etc.).
Hygienic product for the prevention of infectious diseases of the nose and nasopharynx, as well as inflammatory processes after surgery.
Contraindications
Purpose of cleaning products Otrivin Baby is contraindicated in the presence of a child's high personal sensitivity to any of the ingredients of drops or spray.
A nasal aspirator should not be used in children who are allergic to the materials used to make the components of this product.
Composition of
In one dropper bottle with drops contains:
active substance:
sodium chloride - 0.74%
auxiliary components: cremophor RH40 (macrogol glyceryl ricinoleate),
sodium hydrogen phosphate, srdlp sodium.
Dosage and administration of
For hygiene of the nasal mucosa and prevention of diseases of the nose and nasopharynx: for children under 1 year of age and more, drops of Otrivin Baby are applied intranasally with 2-4 rinses in each nasal passage daily (if necessary, more).
One dropper bottle should be separated from the rest, open the bottle by turning the cap clockwise.
Nasal lavage in a young child is carried out in a prone position. Turn the childӳ head to the side. First, you should free the nasal cavity from mucus. The solution is instilled into each nasal passage sequentially by slightly pressing the bottle (a few drops or more are injected if more thorough cleansing is required).
A baby should be planted, after a few seconds, if necessary, excess solution and mucus should be removed from the nasal cavity. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated.
The vial is closed by pressing the cap. To remove mucous secretions from the nose in children, use is recommended.
For hygiene reasons, one vial should only be used for one child.
