Pharmacological action
Tsinokap - dermatoprotective agent.
Pyrithione zinc has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal activity.
The antibacterial activity of zinc pyrithione is manifested against a number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus spp.).
Pyrithione zinc reduces intracellular ATP levels, promotes depolarization of cell membranes, causing the death of fungi and bacteria. Antifungal activity is especially pronounced when acting on Pityrosporum ovale and Pityrosporum orbiculare, causing inflammation and excessive desquamation during dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis and other skin diseases.
The mechanism of anti-inflammatory action has not been studied.
Indications
Psoriasis, atopic dermatitis (eczema, neurodermatitis), seborrheic dermatitis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, children under 1 year of age.
Special instructions
Keep the cylinder upright when spraying.
Composition
active substance:
pyrithione zinc (in terms of 100% substance) - 0.100 g
excipients:
sodium lauryl sulfate - 0.050 g,
isopropyl myristate ֳ3.500 g,
aerosol silicate 0.750 (g) silicon dioxide dexpanthenol (D-Panthenol) - 0.300 g,
polysorbate-80 (tween-80) - 0.250 g,
ethanol 70% (ethyl alcohol 70%) - 15.050 g,
tetrafluoroethane (freon 134a) - up to 58 g.
Dosage and administration
The drug is intended for external use in adults and children from 1 year.
Shake well before use. Spray the drug onto the affected area of the skin from a distance of 15 cm 2-3 times a day until a clinical effect is achieved.
An additional nozzle is attached to treat the scalp. The use of the drug is preferably continued for one week after the disappearance of symptoms.
Duration of treatment for: psoriasis 1-1.5 months, repeated courses - with signs of exacerbation of
atopic dermatitis 3-4 weeks
seborrheic dermatitis 2 weeks.
Side effects
The drug is usually well tolerated.
Rarely - allergic reaction.
In the first days of treatment, there may be a short-term burning sensation at the site of application of the drug, which, as a rule, does not require its withdrawal.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature of 4 to 30 РC, out of the reach of children.
Expiration
3 years.
