Indications

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to pork protein or other components of the

drug acute pancreatitis, exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis

children under 3 years of age (for this dosage form) and up to 15 years (for children suffering from cystic fibrosis).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of PanzinormВ® forte 20000 during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) is possible only if the expected positive effect of therapy exceeds the possible risk (due to the lack of clinical data confirming the safety of use pancreatic enzymes in this category of patients).

Composition

Excipients: lactose monohydrate MCC crospovidone Colloidal anhydrous silica magnesium stearate

Coating: Hypromellose methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, triethyl citrate, titanium dioxide (E171), talc, simethicone emulsion flavor vanilla 54286 C bergamot flavor 54253 T macrogol 6000 carmellose sodium polysorbate 80.

Dosage and Administration

Inside, with meals. Tablets should be taken whole, without chewing, with a sufficient amount of liquid.

The dose and duration of therapy is determined individually depending on the age and degree of pancreatic insufficiency.

Adults Panzinorm® forte 20 000 is recommended to take (in the absence of other prescriptions) at the beginning of treatment, 1 tablet 3 times a day, during each main meal. You can take Panzinorm® Forte 20,000 tablets while taking a light meal. If necessary, a single dose is increased by 2 times. The average daily dose is 1-2 tablets 3 times.

Before x-ray and ultrasound examinations - 2 tablets 2-3 times a day 2-3 days before the examination.

In children, the drug is used as directed by a doctor. Children over the age of 3 - 100 thousand units / day (in terms of lipase).

The duration of treatment can vary from a single dose or several days (if the digestive process is disturbed due to errors in the diet) to several months or years (if constant replacement therapy is necessary).

Side effects

Allergic reactions: flushing of the skin, skin rash, skin itching, sneezing, choking, lacrimation.

From the digestive system (with prolonged use in large doses): nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain (including intestinal colic), diarrhea, constipation, perianal irritation, irritation of the oral mucosa. With cystic fibrosis, if the required dose of pancreatin is exceeded (more than 10,000 units of Heb. Pharm. Lipase per 1 kg of body weight), strictures (fibrotic colonopathy) in the ileocecal section and in the ascending colon are possible.

Other: hyperuricemia, hyperuricosuria, folate deficiency.

Drug Interaction

When co-administered with pancreatin, the absorption of iron (clinically insignificant) and folic acid may be reduced. It is recommended that folate levels and / or folic acid be monitored periodically.

The acid-resistant coating of Pansinorm® Fort 20000 tablets dissolves in the duodenum. At low pH, pancreatin is not released in the duodenum.

Concurrent use of H2-histamine receptor blockers (cimetidine), hydrocarbonates, proton pump inhibitors can increase the effectiveness of pancreatin.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hyperuricosuria, hyperuricemia, perianal irritation, fibrous colonopathy (with cystic fibrosis).

Treatment: drug withdrawal, hydration, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions

The drug should be stored in a place protected from moisture at a temperature not exceeding 25 РC.
