Pharmacological action

Borl has an analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory effect.

Metamizole (a pyrazolone derivative) has analgesic, antipyretic and mild anti-inflammatory effects.

Pitophenone has a direct myotropic effect on smooth muscle, causing it to relax, fenpiverinium has a cholinolytic effect and, as a result, also has a relaxing effect on smooth muscle.

Relieves pain, eliminates spasm of smooth muscles, reduces fever.

Indications

pain syndrome of mild or moderate severity with smooth muscle spasms (renal and biliary colic, intestinal spasm, dysmenorrhea, etc.),

neuralgia,

arthralgia,

myalgia,

pain, surgical procedures, pain and



fever for colds and infectious inflammatory diseases.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity,

severe impaired liver and kidney function,

congenital deficiency of glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase,

tachyarrhythmia,

collapoid state,

hematopoiesis,

angle-closure glaucoma,

bowel obstruction,

megacolon,

prostatic hypertrophy with a tendency to accumulate residual urine.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.

Composition

1 tablet contains metamizole sodium 500 mg, pitophenone hydrochloride 5 mg and phenpiverinium bromide 0.1 mg

Dosage and administration

I took orally: adults and adolescents over 15 years: 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid.

Children 12-14 years old: single dose - 1 tablet, maximum daily dose - 6 tablets (1.5 tablets 4 times a day),

8-11 years old - 0.5 tablets, maximum daily dose - 4 tablets (1 tablet 4 times per day),

5-7 years - 0.5 tablets, the maximum daily dose is 2 tablets (0.5 tablets 4 times a day).

Side effects of

In therapeutic doses, the drug is usually well tolerated.

Allergic reactions are sometimes possible (skin rash, itching, very rarely anaphylactic shock).

In isolated cases - burning sensation in the epigastric region, dry mouth, headache.

Possible - dizziness, decreased blood pressure, tachycardia, cyanosis. With prolonged use - cases of a violation of the blood system (thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis).

With a tendency to bronchospasm, an attack can be provoked.

In very rare cases, malignant exudative erythema (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome), decreased sweating, paresis of accommodation, urinary retention.

Rarely (usually with prolonged use or high doses) - impaired renal function: oliguria, anuria, proteinuria, interstitial nephritis, red staining of urine. All side effects should be reported to your healthcare provider.

Drug Interaction

Tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives, allopurinol, impaired liver metabolism and increased toxicity.

The action is enhanced by sedatives and tranquilizers, attenuated by barbiturates, phenylbutazone and other inducers of microsomal liver enzymes.

Dr. non-narcotic analgesics potentiate the side effects, and cyclosporine reduces plasma levels.

Overdose

Symptoms: vomiting, decreased blood pressure, drowsiness, confusion, nausea, epigastric pain, impaired liver and kidney function, seizures.

Treatment: gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions

In a dry, dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 РC.
