Indications
For topical treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (including recurrent).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy (I trimester)
Pregnancy and lactation
Women of childbearing age, taking Irunin, it is necessary to use adequate methods of contraception throughout the course of treatment until the onset of the first menstruation after its completion.
Pregnant women in the II and III trimester Irunin should be prescribed only if the expected benefit to the woman outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
Since a small amount of itraconazole is excreted in breast milk, the expected benefits of taking itraconazole must be weighed against the risk to the baby during breastfeeding.
In case of doubt, the issue of terminating breastfeeding should be resolved.

Dosage and Administration
Intravaginally.
Vaginal tablets Irunin is injected into the vagina once in the evening before bedtime, in the supine position with slightly bent legs.
The course of treatment is 7-14 days.
A second course of treatment with Irunin is possible after consultation with a doctor.
Side effects
Rarely - itching, burning sensation in the vagina, skin rash in the external genital area, not requiring drug withdrawal.
Drug Interaction
Enhances and prolongs the effect of drugs metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYP3A4 isoenzyme): terfenadine, astemizole, cisapride, midazolam, triazolam, cypoxylan, peroxolan BMCs such as dihydropyridine, quinidine, tacrolimus and vincristine.
CYP3A4 isoenzyme inhibitors (ritonavir, indinavir, clarithromycin) increase bioavailability.
Inductors of microsomal oxidation in the liver (rifampicin, isoniazid, phenytoin) reduce bioavailability.
Antacid drugs, m-cholin blockers, H2-histamine receptor blockers, omeprazole and sucralfate reduce absorption (interval should be at least 2 h).
When combined with cisapride, the toxicity of the latter increases with the development of ventricular arrhythmia.
