Pharmacological action of

The active ingredient of the drug is iron protein succinylate, which is a complex compound where 3-ferrous iron atoms are surrounded by a semisynthetic protein carrier, which does not cause damage to the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. The main function of iron is to deliver oxygen to tissues. Iron is part of myoglobin, hemoglobin, iron-containing enzymes, cytochrome, is responsible for the transport of electrons, acts as a catalyst for oxidation reactions, is responsible for hydroxylation and other metabolic processes.

Indications

Iron deficiency conditions: latent and manifest forms of iron deficiency anemia (with acute or chronic blood loss, poor nutrition, insufficient absorption of iron in the digestive tract, infectious diseases) at any age, during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis, aplastic, hemolytic and sideroblastic anemia, chronic pancreatitis, cirrhosis.
