Pharmacological action of

Reaferon EU Lipint - an antiviral and immunomodulating drug, is human recombinant interferon alfa-2b, enclosed in liposomes and lyophilized.

Indications

Viral hepatitis B, C, D, viral, viral bacterial and mycoplasma meningoencephalitis, viral conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, keratitis, keratouveitis, kidney cancer stage IV, cellulose cell carcinoma, cellulose cell carcinoma squamous), keratoacanthoma, multiple sclerosis, lymphoblastic leukemia in children, respiratory laryngeal papillomatosis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Composition

1 ampoule contains:

Active ingredient: interferon alfa-2a 1 million IU

Excipients: sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, lecithin or lipoid C100, cholesterol, cholesterol.

Dosage and administration

The drug is intended for oral administration. Immediately before use, add 1-2 ml of distilled or chilled boiled water to the contents of the vial. When shaking for 1 to 5 minutes, a uniform suspension should form.

In acute hepatitis B, the drug is taken 30 minutes before meals according to the following scheme: 1 million are prescribed for adults and children of school age. ME 2 times / day for 10 days for preschool children (from 3 to 7 years) - 500 thousand ME 1 time / day for 10 days or after control biochemical blood tests for a longer time (until complete clinical recovery) .

In chronic hepatitis B in active and inactive replicative forms, as well as in chronic hepatitis B associated with glomerulonephritis, the drug is taken 30 minutes before meals according to the following scheme: adults and schoolchildren are prescribed 1 million ME 2 times / day for 10 days and then proceed to the introduction of 1 time at night every other day for 1 month to children of preschool age (from 3 to 7 years) - 500 thousand ME 2 times / day for 10 days and then proceed to the introduction of 500 thousand ME 1 time at night every other day for 1 month.

When carrying out specific immunotherapy, the drug is taken in the morning, 30 minutes after a meal, according to the following scheme: for allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, adults are prescribed 500 thousand ME daily for 10 days (course dose - 5 million ME) for adults with atopic bronchial asthma - 500 thousand ME 1 time / day for 10 days, and then 500 thousand ME every other day for 20 days. The total duration of treatment is 30 days.

For the prevention of influenza and acute respiratory infections, the drug is taken 30 minutes before meals for adults and children over 15 years of age are prescribed 500 thousand ME 2 times a week for 1 month while the incidence rate rises for children from 3 to 15 years old - 250 thousand ME 2 once a week for 1 month during the rise in incidence. In the treatment of influenza and acute respiratory infections, adults and children over 15 years of age - 500 thousand. ME 2 times / day for 3 days for children from 3 to 15 years - 250 thousand ME 2 times / day for 3 days.

In the complex treatment of urogenital infections, adults are prescribed 500 thousand ME 2 times / day for 10 days.

Side effects

When used according to the indications in recommended doses, the drug does not have side effects. However, given that its active ingredient is recombinant interferon, which causes flu-like side effects upon parenteral administration, caution is required when prescribing the drug to individuals with individual intolerance to interferon preparations.

Drug interaction

Interferon alfa-2b is able to reduce the activity of isoenzymes of cytochrome P450 and, consequently, simultaneously use the metabolism of cimetidine, phenytoin, dipyridamole, theophylline, diazepam, propranolol, warfarin, and some cytostatics.

The drug may enhance the neurotoxic, myelotoxic or cardiotoxic effects of drugs, appointed earlier or simultaneously with it.
