Pharmacological action of

Cerniton is a treatment for diseases of the prostate gland of plant origin.

Cernilton has an anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect, helps regulate metabolic processes.

One of the pharmacological properties of the drug is dosesdependent inhibition of COX and 5-lipoxygenase, which leads to inhibition of the synthesis of mediators of inflammation of the arachidonic acid cycle: prostaglandins and leukotrienes and, as a result, to reduce inflammation and swelling of the prostate tissue. The drug helps to eliminate pain.

Zernilton has a muscle relaxant effect, which leads to relaxation of the smooth muscle elements of the posterior wall of the urethra and improved urination.

The drug reduces the volume of the prostate by inhibiting 5-alpha reductase, selectively blocks alpha1-adrenergic receptors of the smooth muscle elements of the urethra, and has an antiandrogenic effect. Helps improve erectile function.

Indications

As part of complex therapy:

acute and chronic prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia, benign prostatic hyperplasia in combination with prostatitis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Special instructions

The use of Cernilton in chronic bacterial prostatitis is possible only in combination with antibacterial agents, as directed and under the supervision of a physician.

Graminex TM GFX (fat-soluble fraction of microbiological extracts) 3 microbiologically microcrystalline,

silicon dioxide colloidal,

magnesium stearate.

Dosage and administration

Zernilton is applied orally 30 minutes before a meal with a little water.

Acute prostatitis: 4 tablets 3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the attending physician and is usually 3 months.

Chronic prostatitis: 1 tablet 3-4 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is determined individually by the attending physician and is usually from 3 to 6 months.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia: 2 tablets 3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is determined individually by the attending physician and is usually from 6 to 12 weeks, but can be increased to 6 months.
