Indications

- seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis

- itchy allergic dermatoses

- pollinosis (hay fever)

- urticaria (including chronic idiopathic)

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, bronchospasm, cough, severe nephropathy of porphyria, pregnancy and lactation, children under 2 years of age.

Pregnancy and lactation

Pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) are contraindicated.

Composition

1 tablet contains 10 mg of cytirizine dihydrochloride

excipients: Lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, macrogol, talc, dimethyl dioxide, emulsion.

Dosage and administration

Zodak administered orally, regardless of food intake. Coated tablets should be swallowed whole with a little water.

Adults and children over 12 years of age - 10 mg of cetirizine (1 tablet).

For children from 6 to 12 years old - 10 mg of cetirizine (1 tablet) once a day.

For children from 2 to 6 years old - 5 mg of cetirizine (1/2 tablet) once a day.

Drug Interaction

It is not recommended to combine the administration of Zodak with other medicines without your doctor's advice.

When taken with bronchodilators containing theophylline as an active substance, an increase in the frequency of side effects of the drug Zodak is possible.

Concomitant use of CNS depressant drugs and alcohol is not recommended.

Symptoms: drowsiness, stiffness, weakness, fatigue, headache, tachycardia, irritability, urinary retention, dry mouth, constipation (most often when taken daily with 50 mg cetirizine).

Treatment: carry out symptomatic therapy. No specific antidote was detected. Hemodialysis is ineffective. Carry out gastric lavage, appoint activated charcoal.
