1 coated tablet contains: active substance:
cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg,
- 80 mg MCC - 23.8 mg
silicon dioxide colloidal - 0.6 mg
magnesium stearate - 0.6 mg
shell: s rdlkp white dye Opadry - 5 mg (contains lactose monohydrate - 1.8 mg titanium dioxide - 1.3 mg hypromellose - 1.4 mg macrogol 4000 (polyethylene 4000 - 0.5 mg).
Dosage and Administration
Inside, regardless of food intake, without chewing and drinking plenty of fluids, preferably in the evening.
For children aged 6 to 12 years:
with a body weight of less than 30 kg: by? coated tablets in the evening
with a body weight of more than 30 kg: 1 coated tablet in the evening.
Possible to take 2 times a day (morning and evening) for? tablets.
Adults and adolescents over the age of 12 are advised to take 1 tablet of cetirizine, preferably in the evening.
In case of renal failure, the recommended dose should be reduced by 2 times.
In case of impaired liver function, it is necessary to select a dose individually, especially carefully with simultaneous renal failure.
Dosage adjustment is not required in elderly patients with normal renal function.
With seasonal allergic rhinitis, the duration of therapy is usually from 3 to 6 weeks, and with short-term exposure to pollen, one week is enough.
The duration of therapy for children over 6 years of age is from 2 to 4 weeks, and with short-term exposure to an allergen, administration within 1 week is sufficient.
Overdose
Symptoms: taking the drug once in a dose of more than 50 mg may be accompanied by signs of intoxication in the form of drowsiness, anxiety and increased irritability, signs of anticholinergic action in the form of urinary retention, dry mouth, and constipation may occur.
Treatment: induce vomiting, rinse the stomach, take activated charcoal, consult a doctor immediately.
There is no specific antidote. Hemodialysis is ineffective.
