Pharmacological action
Rinikold - a combined drug to eliminate the symptoms of colds and flu.
Paracetamol has an antipyretic and analgesic effect.
Phenylephrine is a vasoconstrictor action, thereby helping to eliminate nasal congestion and reduce nasal discharge.
Chlorpheniramine has anti-allergic and decongestant effects. Reduces vascular permeability, eliminates swelling and hyperemia of the nasal mucosa, suppresses symptoms of allergic rhinitis, making breathing easier.
Caffeine has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, which leads to a decrease in fatigue and drowsiness, to increase mental and physical performance.
Indications
Colds accompanied by a runny nose, nasal congestion, headache, fever, chills, joint and muscle pain.
Contraindications
concomitant use of other drugs containing substances Rrdicold
concomitant use of tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, beta-blockers
hypersensitivity to the drug.
Precautions: glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, blood diseases, liver and / or kidney failure, angle-closure glaucoma, prostate adenoma, Gilbert's syndrome, arterial hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.
Special instructions
During treatment, you should refrain from drinking alcohol.
Rinicold should not be taken with other drugs containing paracetamol.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and perform work requiring increased concentration of attention.

Dosage and Administration
Inside. Adults - 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours.
The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets.
Children over 6 years of age - 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, but no more than 4 times a day for no more than 5 days.
Side effects of
When taking the drug in recommended doses, side effects rarely occur.
In case side effects occur, they can manifest themselves in the form of allergic reactions, dizziness, sleep disturbance, irritability, nausea, headache, and dry mouth.
Drug Interactions
Enhances the effects of MAO inhibitors, sedatives, ethanol.
Reduces the hypotensive effect of guanethidine, which in turn enhances the alpha-adrenostimulatory activity of phenylephrine.
Antidepressants, antiparkinsonian drugs, antipsychotics, phenothiazine derivatives increase the risk of urinary retention, dry mouth, and constipation.
corticosteroids increase the risk of developing glaucoma.
Paracetamol reduces the effectiveness of diuretic drugs.
Chlorpheniramine simultaneously with MAO inhibitors, furazolidone can lead to hypertensive crisis, agitation, hyperpyrexia.
Tricyclic antidepressants enhance the sympathomimetic effect, the simultaneous administration of halothane increases the risk of ventricular arrhythmia.
overdose
Symptoms are mainly due to the action of paracetamol: pale skin, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, hepatocecrosis, increased activity of hepatic transaminases, increase in prothrombin time.
Treatment: gastric lavage followed by the appointment of activated charcoal, symptomatic therapy.
The patient should be advised to consult a doctor in case of overdose.
