Pharmacological action
Akriderm SK is a combined preparation for external use that has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiseptic, keratolytic effects.
Betamethasone dipropionate - a glucocorticosteroid, has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative, decongestant and antipruritic effect. It inhibits the accumulation of white blood cells, the release of lysosomal enzymes and pro-inflammatory mediators in the focus of inflammation, inhibits phagocytosis, reduces vascular tissue permeability, and prevents the formation of inflammatory edema.
Salicylic acid provides a keratolytic, antimicrobial effect, eliminates horny deposits and promotes deeper penetration of glucocorticosteroid.
Indications
Topical treatment of dermatoses accompanied by hyperkeratosis: psoriasis, limited and diffuse neurodermatitis, lichen planus, eczema, dyshidrotic dermatitis, ichthyosis and ichthyosiform changes.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, skin tuberculosis, perioral dermatitis, rosacea (rosacea), trophic ulcers against chronic venous insufficiency, skin tumors (skin cancer, nevus, atheroma, epithelioma, melanoma, xanthoma, sarcoma) skin manifestations of syphilis, chickenpox, herpes simplex, skin vaccine reactions, open wounds, lactation, children under 1 year old.
Use during pregnancy and lactation

It has not been established whether topical use of glucocorticosteroids can cause them to appear in mother's milk, therefore, the question of stopping breastfeeding should be decided.
Special instructions
If signs of hypersensitivity or skin irritation associated with the use of the drug are noted, treatment should be discontinued and patient appropriate therapy should be selected. With prolonged treatment, when applying the drug to large surfaces of the skin, when using occlusive dressings, as well as in children, systemic absorption of glucocorticosteroids is possible.
For children from 1 year of age, the drug is prescribed only according to strict indications and under medical supervision, since the development of systemic side effects associated with betamethasone is possible. When using the drug on large surfaces and / or under an occlusive dressing, it is possible to suppress the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system and the development of symptoms of hypercorticism, a decrease in the growth hormone excretion, an increase in intracranial pressure can be observed.
On the skin of the face more often than on other surfaces of the body, after prolonged treatment with topical glucocorticosteroids, atrophic changes can occur, the course of treatment in this case should not exceed 5 days.
