DESCRIPTION
The vaccine against Aujeszky's disease and swine erysipelas is a complex preparation for the prevention of two significant diseases of swine. Vaccine with oil (creamy white emulsion, sometimes with a yellowish tinge) adjuvant.
COMPOSITION
The composition contains inactivated antigens of the virus of Aujeszky's disease and erysipelotrix serovar 2a in a complex adjuvant or in aluminum oxide hydrate.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
It causes the formation of specific immunity to pathogens of Aujeszky's disease and erysipelas. It is harmless and areactogenic. Immunity in vaccinated pigs occurs in 7-10 days to Aujeszky's disease and lasts up to 6 months. Antihypertic immunity is developed by 25 days and lasts over 6 months.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
When using the vaccine in the cold season, the vials are heated in a water bath to a temperature of 36 В° C. Before use and during use, each bottle is shaken until a homogeneous mass is obtained. I sterilize syringes and needles by boiling for 20 minutes; a separate needle is used for each animal. The injection site is disinfected with 70% alcohol. Observe the rules of asepsis and antiseptics. The vaccine is administered once intramuscularly in the neck behind the ear in doses: 1 ml for piglets aged 45 days to 4 months, and 2 ml for older animals. Pigs vaccinated before 4 months are revaccinated after 6 months with a dose of 2 ml. Sows are vaccinated 1.5 - 2 months before farrowing.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Vaccine vials without labels or markings, cracked, with broken closure, containing a sludge that does not break when shaken, and also not used on the day of opening, are subject to rejection and neutralization by boiling for 10 minutes.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Clinically sick and suspicious pigs, as well as young animals that are lagging behind in growth and development, are not subject to vaccination.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2 to 10 В° C. The shelf life is 18 months.
