Somelite, also known as “coral sand”, is made up of natural coral grains, which are mainly composed of the shells and skeletons of reef-building corals.

Foraminifera such as the star sand found in the water near Okinawa are also found in coral grains.

These organisms absorb calcium and magnesium from the ocean.

Consequently, coral sand is composed of approximately 95% calcium carbonate.

Somelite is also high in calcium, magnesium and other minerals that contribute to optimal body health.
